This Webflow-based portfolio was created for painter Saber Chaychi with the goal of showcasing artwork in a calm and immersive environment. In an age of fast content and cluttered interfaces, this project embraces stillness and space allowing the viewer to connect deeply with the work.

Designing with Intention

The site features a dark theme, subtle transitions, and horizontal scroll, creating a gallery-like experience that mirrors the quiet mood of Chaychi’s paintings. The visual identity is minimal yet intentional, supporting the artwork without distraction. Each element - from typography to layout - was selected to evoke reflection and focus.

Centering the Artwork
‍

Rather than overpowering the paintings with design, the interface takes a step back. Navigation is intuitive, interactions are smooth, and the overall tone is contemplative. This approach ensures that the portfolio feels like an extension of the artist’s vision, not just a digital frame.
